Does anyone know anything about Joseph Sharp, b. abt 1804 in NJ, a carpenter, died January, 1850, in Mannington twp? He died about the same time as my 4ggfather, Lewis Hewes, in the same place of the same cause, strong drink. It shows Lewis Hewes as dying in December and Joseph Sharp dying in January on the 1850 mortality schedule. They are listed right next to each other and I'm guessing they may have been drinking together, maybe on New Years eve. Does anyone know if there were any newspapers at this time that might have something about the deaths or somewhere else I might find more info? Thanks, Jeanne
