Then John, being so seized, died without issue so the same land descended to Isaiah Hudson as brother and heir of John. Isaiah Hudson and Elizabeth his wife, by deed dated 19 Oct 1787 granted to Benjamin Johnson aforesaid, 161 acres in fee. Now in consideration of L150 hard money, all the remainder of the said 161 acres estimated to contain 114 acres and 3/4 in Upper Penns Neck Township, Salem County, NJ. Beginning at a maple tree standing by Game Creek. Then S 23 and 1/2 degrees E 6 chains to a white Oak. Thence E 21 chains and 80 links to a white oak. Thence by Randle McCallister's land S 45 chains and 50 links to a post. Thence by Justice William's lands, S 75 degrees W 13 chains and 88 links to a post. Thence by Charles Dalbow's land N 30 degrees W 37 chains and 20 links to a post. Thence by Andrew Vanneman's lands S 75 degrees E 1 chain and 28 links to a tree. Thence by same N 8 and 1/2 degrees E 22 chains to Game Creek. Containing 114 acres more or less.
