Whereas William Miller, late of Upper Penns Neck, Salem County, NJ, died seized of 2 tracts in said twp.…one he had purchased of John Sinnixson and the other of Samuel Griffy, which included a Grist Mill, called the Penns Neck Mill, did by his last Will and Testament dated 20 April 1796, devise this land to his 3 sons; Adam Miller, aforesaid, William Miller (Jr.) and Samuel Miller, aforesaid. As William Miller, one of the heirs, died intestate and without issue, his share by law goes to the other parties. Now Adam Miller in the consideration of L250 gold and silver paid by Samuel Miller, Quit Claims all rights to the right of his deceased brother and also his right by the will of his father…as well as the rights to those lands purchased of John Lockart in Pennsylvania as mentioned in the will.
