Hi, The site mentioned below in Joan's email contains a for-pay vital records lookup component for New Jersey (Charles Updike lives near Trenton) which I tried last week. I sent him $30 through Paypal for five 19th century vital record searches and one will and inventory and received back as email attachments a week later a seven page Will and Inventory, one Index Register of Death, one Return of Birth, and one Marriage Return (two requests could not be found). For me it was a fast, inexpensive way to get records stored in Trenton as I am in Miami. I have ordered from the state before but they took more than 3 months to deliver. ....
