Good Morning - I'd like to add my Friant to the mix. My 3rd great grandmother was a FRIANT. Her name was Jane FRIANT, she was born in NJ, probably Salem around 1824. She married Job SHEPPARD, son of John SHEPPARD and Sarah WARD. He was grandson to Jesse CARLL and Grace HANCOCK Job and Jane had the following: Job - b. 10 Mar 1851, d. 1 Mar. 1934 John Roger Jennie (Jenita was actual name) Job (1851) - m. Mary E. MILLER, she's unknown for certain as everything conflicts, all we do know is that she was born 1 Apr. 1857 in VA or NC, and died 5 Jul 1943 in Bridgeton, NJ, Job died in Bridgeton as well. From the picture we have of her, we have proven that she was Cherokee Indian, but, that's all we can find thus far, her death cert. was no help, nor her obit., no parents listed. Job and Mary had the following: Goldie Lawrence Jennie Bertha Friant Twins Goldie is my great grandmother.
