    3. To Dolores and Others: I would also be interested in sharing information regarding the Dickinson clan. Specifically, I am trying to tie my direct ancestor Ann Dickinson into the family. Ann was probably born around 1740 and married John Powell in 1763. They had land in LAC but lived in Mannington. John Powell died in 1765. Ann was co-administrator of the will along with a John "Dickeson" who was presumably a brother or father (possibly an uncle). Ann apparently died about 1781although no documentation has been identified. Family lore suggests Ann descended from Anna Adams (daughter of John Adams and Elizabeth Fenwick) who married John Dickeson/Dickinson, hence a tie to John Fenwick. I have been trying to place the John Dickeson who administered the will. Beverly provided a compilation of available information on the John Dickinson's of Salem County, taken from the SCHS I think--unfortunately, nothing seems to quite work. Happy to share this along with the October 1964 New Jersey Genesis article about the John Dickinson House near Alloway (is this the same as that referenced in the prior posting?) to the extent anyone doesn't already have them. Also have a couple journal articles about the Adams family line which ties to Dickinson through John Dickinson. Any help tieing in my Ann Dickinson very much appreciated. Jack
