    1. Re: New Jersey Census records
    2. MARY HILL
    3. I just checked www.familysearch.org - Library - Family History Library Catalog. I did a Place search for Cumberland New Jersey. Under Census - Indexes I see the 1800 Census for Cumberland County, New Jersey. It is only and index to the heads of household, but it is still great! The bad news is that it is only available at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. Permission has not been given to the Family History Library to microfilm it. :( They film anything they can, but some people won't give permission. I also checked under New Jersey as a Place search, under Taxation. Same thing. The volumes are there for Taxation 1778 (I said 1772 last night but was wrong) through 1822. You can write to the Photo Duplication department at the Family History Library and they would copy pages for you. There is a form to use on www.familysearch.org and the address under the tab <Library> and over on the left click on <Services> Here's what it says. There is a link to the form. Ordering Copies by Mail To obtain photocopies of a few pages from a book or a few frames of microfilm or microfiche, please use the appropriate Request for Photocopies form available on this site. Copies cost U.S.$2.00 each, with a U.S.$4.00 minimum charge. Please follow the instructions found on the form. Mary Hill >From: "Robin M.
