Hello, I have a question. My 4th gr. grandfather Lorenzo D. Keen died in July 1866 of Consumption. Is this the same as TB? If so where were patients sent in 1866? He lived in Sharptown as a Butcher. He is not buried in our families cemetery at ME Church in Sharptown. His OBIT does not say much. Did they cremate people back then if they had TB? Thanks, Robin Stinson researching: (from the So.
