Should you find discrepancies to your information, please note that the listings are taken directly from the census sheet and were reported to the census that way. I have found many times that within a 10 year span (between two Censuses’), a person can age 10+ years or name could be spelled differently. If the name was hard to read, the word (unreadable) will be placed next to it and our best guess at what was recorded is given. Please remember, this information was verbally provided to the census taker. 1900 Census provided additional information as to month/year born and total number of children and total number of living children.
