I think Andrea got it right with JP Morgan. Robin and Mill probably right also -- all those "filth rich" folks hung out together. :)) Now, wasn't JP Morgan the one who perished on the Titanic after he secured his young, pregnant wife on a lifeboat. Or am I getting my history mixed up?? Terri
No JP did not take the trip on the Titanic. However he was schedule to take it and canceled at the last min. J P's mother was Juliet Pierpont (18161884)) of Boston Mass. Pierpont was the name he preferred to be called as a young man. JP lived out his later life in Rome. and died on March 31, 1913 at the age of 76.
