Taken in 1929 but not used for a Christmas card. "Grandmother. Mother." - possibly Mary A. Schalk (1836-1900, maidenname possibly Hoell, from Baden, Switzerland). Wife of George Schalk (1823-1874, surname later became Schalick). George immigrated to America 1850-60 from Alsace. Settled near Roadstown. Burial place unknown. His name is on the Schalick family gravestone at Overlook in Bridgeton. "George Schalick" - Identity depends on when the photo was taken. Age of the child appears to be 3-5 years old. George, son of the immigrant, was born 1871 (my gr-grandfather). His son, George, was born 1894. "possibly Mary Moore" - This could be Mary (Schalick) Moore (1858-1931), wife of Daniel Rocap Moore. She was the oldest child of the immigrants, George and Mary. Her sons, Charlie and Frank, are also pictured. "Godie [no last name] (should be Goldie?)" - this is possibly Josephine (aka Josie) Schalick (1860-1945), daughter of the immigrants, George and Mary. She never married. "Howard [no last name]" - possibly Howard Moore (1894-?), son of Daniel and Mary. "Ruth Moore" - possibly the daughter of George Schalick Moore (1884-1963) and Sara (Johnson) (1891-1982).
