He is not connected to the Sparks family we have been discussing. I wish I could have been more help to you and your friend. I could not find Emerson on the 1930 census. I did find a Sally Butler on the 1930 Census living in Wilmington, Del., age 26. I don't know if this was Wayne's momma, but I thought I'd give you the info so you could look into it.
