Since I'm not the list admin of this list I can't tell you what setting the list admin has chosen for digest distribution. About the gateway, I tend to agree that having the poster's email address as we did in the past was a good thing to have BUT...the current set-up DOES force replies to go to the board which, in turn, guarantees that everyone sees them and this ensures that the queries and the answers to the gateway posts are accessible to everyone.
