A Will noted in Documents relating to the Colonial History of the State of New Jersey for Ball, Mary, dated 17 November, 1747 lists sisters--Abigail Hencock, Rachel Samson, Sarah Tichener, Hannah Shingilton, and Elizabeth Day. I am working to separate the two and possibly three Ezekiel Sampsons (Samsons) that served in the Revolutionary War. It is possible that Rachel Samson listed in the the above (Mary Ball) Will may be part of one of the lines and the maiden name may be Tichener. Any information would be appreciated on Rachel Samson.
