I am trying to locate my great grandfather Thomas Joynes Smedley. He was a brick and tile maker and he sold large numbers of drain tile to farmers. He moved his business to Delaware in 1861. I know he was in Salem County, from 1857-1861, but I can't locate his family in the 1860 census at all. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
