Pierpont was the middle name of Samuel P. Langley of Virginia (aviation engineer); is that what perhaps rang the bell? If so, I don't think anyone has established why he had that middle name. -- Dolores Langley ----Original Message Follows---- From: taire@webtv.net (Terri) ((clip)) isn't/wasn't Pierpont a rather prestigious family somewhere along the line? First, thank you for rescuing these photos! Second, if you are out of space, have you considered using another photo site? I like Imagestation.com because they DO give me unlimited storage. But it might be even better to put them on one of the sites meant for sharing old photos. This site lists some of those. http://honoringourancestors.com/orphanphotos.html Kim Kolk --------------------------------------- illinimom2@centurytel.net Researching DEBEE, HAHNENKAMP, JANCO, KOLK, MAXWELL, PETRINI, POYNTER, WEISS On Jan 27, 2007, at 12:00 AM, njsalem-request@rootsweb.com wrote: > I recently rescued more than 300 photos from ebay. This address is only used to send the board posts to the list and isn't a valid address for you to reply to the message. You're welcome. I started putting more up at: www.flickr.com/photos/ebayrescue2 I figure that it's the George Pierpont family and the J. Walter & Laura (Mixner) Harris Family. They did live next to each other in one census... can't figure out a relationship yet. One of the albums (that I haven't photographed yet) has the name of J. Walter and Laura's daughter Maude - Maude Pearl Marks - in it.. hrm.. -andrea On 1/26/07, Rootsgirl50@aol.com <Rootsgirl50@aol.com> wrote: > Andrea !!!! great pictures !!! thank you very much for sharing them and > Bravo to you for rescueing them !!!! > > I didn't find anyone in my family but enjoyed it anyway > > Mill > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NJSALEM-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message > -- Perfect Gift for Cumberland County Genealogists: 2 CD set of high resolution photographs of the original records of the Old Cohansey Baptist Church at Roadstown!
