    3. The Conklin I have in my tree is Sarah, who married into the Mayhew line; she was the wife of my 1C6R, Samuel Maybew. She was probably born about 1750. I don't have any other information about her; do you? Surnames: Dickinson, Royal Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/oRB.2ACI/661 Message Board Post: Need information on names of children of Smith Dickinson; one daughter should be "Sara(h)"; another possibly "Mary"; I have an old photo showing 4 daughters and an estimate of the age of the youngest in this photo is about 5. The house still stands with the date "1754" in the brick work. I have found record of a Smith Dickinson being married to an Elizabeth Richardson but cannot find names of children. The 1830 Census shows a son, but he is not in the photo.

I am looking for gravestone inscriptions for the following: Joshua Douglass and wife Alice Cuff Douglass that I am told are buried there. If anyone is aware or in the vecinity of this cemetary any help would be appreciated. I am not in the area so I can't just go look. Thanks Trish

Classification: Biography Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/oRB.2ACI/656 Message Board Post: Hi all, It's that time of year again. The Penns Grove Rotary Club holds this as a fund raiser each year for a local community project. This year the YMCA of Salem County and the Penns Grove - Carneys Point Library will get the proceeds. It is held at the Salem County Community College, in their DuPont Field House , ( within the Davidow Center - just follow the signs, or the people) 450 Hollywood Avenue, Carneys Point, NJ 08069. Admission is still $3.00, but only $2.50 if you sign up for the mailing list as I do, and get the flyer. I am not in any way associated with any of these groups, but put out the word to the list, as you can sometimes find old books, letters, maps, photos, post cards, manuscripts and etc. amid the comic books and almost any kind of paper products you can imagine. Just a fun kind of a thing to browse all the dealers, who come from all over the place. Last year I got an old book with many pictures of Woodstown, as the Pilesgrove Historical society used this venue to get rid of some duplicate holdings. Another time I bought some out of print history/genealogy books from a dealer I know, and the time before that, I found an old post card for Vanderbilt's Mill, that used to be near Auburn, but long gone in my lifetime. You just never know what you'll find. Most of the Genealogy Society of Salem county show up at some point in the day, so I look forward to seeing you all. Val

    2. Sharon: As of Dec. 2001 when I recorded the headstones at Willow Grove, there were no McAllisters buried at Willow Grove United Methodist Cemetery. I don't know if they are your McAllisters' but I do see two plots owned by Cyrus Mc Allister at the Emmanuel Methodest Episcopal Cemetery in Penns Grove. There are usually 5 or 6 graves per plot. High IQ, MS and schizophrenia are common in the family. Hope this info is not disturbing Dave
