Recorded June 26, 1802 by Clement Acton, Recorder p. 334 includes a map which does not give any permanent land mark such as the creek or a road, but shows the lot of Aaron Peterson (4 1/2 acre exception) and names the common lines. Discrepancies from map noted in above description of bounds. Map indicates what ground is cleared, meadow, swamp or woodlands. My guess, from the parties involved, this property somewhere in present day Oldmans Twp, between Auburn and Pedricktown, likely not far off Oldmans' Creek, and probably closer to Auburn than not.. Stantons owned land near Beaver Creek and in Auburn, and Crispin owned Auburn ground, but also much other property in the county. Both Gideon Scull and Wm Biddle were in Auburn. (aka Sculltown) Will take finding some adjoining pieces of the puzzle before I can fit this one in precisely. Abstract by VNC

However, I have this church's records and see no reference to Rev. Stafford in them. The groom was baptized Catholic but the family later left the Catholic faith. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/oRB.2ACI/699 Message Board Post: NONE OF THE FOLLOWING IS DOCUMENTED, BUT IS ASSEMBLED FROM VARIOUS SOURCES: I am trying to determine the descendancy of one Joseph Haywood—born late 1600s or early 1700s (probably Barbados). His parents were John Haywood and Mary —. His siblings were: 1.Eliza Haywood, b. 7 Dec 1682 in Barbados; 2. John Haywood, b. 1685 (probably in Barbados), married Mary Lovett; 3. Mary Haywood, b. 12 Feb 1686, Barbados; 4. James Haywood, m. Charity Halsted. The birth dates of the sisters come from the christening records of St. Michael's Parish, Barbados. The family supposedly returned to England, and then in the 1720s, the three brothers—John, James, and Joseph returned to the Piscataway NJ area. John and Mary Lovett Haywood founded a colony of New Jersey settlers in Edgecombe County NC. This family is well documented. James and Charity Halsted Haywood were first in Morris County NJ, and later in Monmouth County NJ. Sources link John, James and Joseph as being brothers. Joseph Haywood had four known children: 1. Joseph Haywood m. Sarah Filer. He was a captain in the New Jersey Militia from Salem County NJ during the Revolution. They had one son: John Haywood 2. Zachariah Haywood 3. Joel Haywood 4. Isabella Haywood m. Hull FitzRandolph 26 Oct 1767 in Monmouth County NJ. They had the following children: James, Jediah, Frances, Mahala, and Ruben Randolph. This Ruben Randolph was born in Culpeper County VA, whereas the others were probably born in New Jersey. This would be logical, since Isabella's cousin, George Haywood, son of her father's brother James, was in Culpeper County from the late 1780s.
