Hi List, I just received information from a family connection in Virginia that my great uncles, Nan, William and Jacob SIKKELEE were very much involved in the business community in Paterson, NJ in the early 1900s. Nan SIKKELEE reportedly owned 5 silk mills, a bank and a bakery chain which eventually became "Continental". His brothers, William (Willum) and Jacob (Jacobus)SIKKELEE owned Sikkelee Brothers Building Company in the People's Park Section of Paterson (21st Avenue area).
