Jim, Mormons have filmed grantor/grantee indexes and records. You can order them to view at your local Family History Center. Look in FHL Catalog under NJ, Passaic County, Land (I think that's right, from memory) to see film numbers. One of the granteee indexes that I copied at Salt Lake for my FARRELLs from Paterson is from film #096365.
