Myra, I just received a note from Liz in Belleville, NJ who said her mother graduated from St. Mary's in 1933. The name of my grandmother is Anna Margret (Anderson) Birkhoff. She was married in 1944, so if she graduated before 1944 she would have been an Anderson. The name I gave is her legal name. Some records here in Virginia show Anne Margaret, but her legal name after Ellis Island was Anna Margret, and that's what's on her Social Security card. Thanks to everyone for their help!
