Hi Vern: I believe the 'only' nursing school in Passaic County in the time frame you note was connected with St. Joseph's Hospital on Main Street in Paterson (it is still there although I don't know if they still have a nursing school). My sister-in-law graduated from the school in the '40s and is somewhat active in an alumni group. Let me know the name of the person you seek and I'll ask for her help.
