HI, I am living in California and am trying to trace the roots of my family. MY great grandfather was an Italian immigrant that started the bus line in Paterson. His name was Michael Dorso. He sold the busline for about a million and bought a carnival just before the depression at which point he went bankrupt. I would like to trace my roots but I have not the faintest idea about where to start. I thought about getting a death certificate but I don't know the year he died.
