I'm a new subscriber (and researcher) to this list. Is there a statewide death index for NJ that would cover 1920--present? Or a Passaic County death index for the same time period? Also, what would be the most likely newspaper for the city of Passaic in the 1930's and 1940's? Also, when I subscribed to this list on the Rootsweb homepage, there was a URL for the Passaic County homepage, but I received a server error accessing the site. Could someone tell me the site of the homepage (if there is one)?
