I have the Dec. of Intent to become a citizen, or the application for citizenship, for my gr.grandfather. I got it from the Passaic County Courthouse in Paterson. It is dated 1905. Now, where would I most likely write to get the actual citizenship papers? [email protected] Hudson, OH...P.S. I had written to the courthouse THREE years ago, finally got to go there myself TWO years ago and found the entry and later got the actual papers by mail. Then yesterday, AFTER THREE YEARS, I got a phone call from the clerk's office about my original letter saying the papers were found!! so, never give up hope in your searching!
