Don't forget that NJ did a state census every ten years on the "5s", i.e., 1905, 1915, etc. I have used the 1905 census and found it very helpful. Contains the same type of stuff as the US census but give you the in-between years. If I remember correctly, all of Passaic Co. is on about 4 or 5 reels. Available from your local LDS FHC.
