Right now I am having puter problems and only have some of my equipment working and have not reloaded most of my software. I was forced to reformat my hard drive. I have been holding it off for a long time but decided it was NOW to do it. So I did..so please bear with me a bit longer and I will have finished turning over Hudson and Sussex Counties to others and will have more time to concentrate on Passaic county. I am also working on Vol. III of The Ackerman Family as the people who were working on it are no longer able to do it..so I have undertaken the task to completely review the manuscript and to add in any corrections that are needed. If you have any Ackemerman info that you think I might not have..especially on descendants...and especially in Passaic County..please by all means, let me know. Also if you have any time to do any census work for Passaic County or any other county in NJ..I desperately need the 1900, 1910, 1920 Census for Ackerman/Ockerman and any variation of the spelling. I believe that they are on soundex and you could do the soundex number for Ackerman..forget what it is offhand. If anyone is interested please let me know.
