I would like everyone to know that this person is Geoffrey Cooper who seems to go under the following email addresses: [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] I have corresponded with this person and offered to list him on the web pages for Hudson, Sussex and Passaic Counties as a person willing to offer lookup services PROVIDED he gives me his name, address and telephone number. The individual has indicated " I am very surprised and overwhelmed with the response to my post". I told him not to post messages to any of the counties that I have dealings with. They included Warren, Hudson, Sussex and Passaic Counties. He has posted again, now using another email address. I will not allow advertising of services on my mailing lists. If someone has something to sell, including services, it will be advertised on the web site under an appropriate section set aside for those offering services. I do not mind the occasional post about a book available for sale for a given surname or area of the state. That is not a problem for me as I like to know if there are genealogies and other reference materials pertaining areas and surnames that I am researching. So, saying: I have placed Geoffrey Cooper under his three addresses on the reject list for NJWarren and NJPassai as I do not allow this type of advertising on my lists. I have had to take these drastic measures because he will not give me his name and address and phone number and allow his name and address to be posted to the county pages, and he continues to advertise on the Passaic, Hudson and Sussex mailing lists. I do not take this action lightly. His addresses are the first to go on the reject list for any of my mailing lists and I do have and have had many mailing lists. At this point I do not recommend your using his services; do so at your own risk. I also, do not intend to post his offer of services on the any NJGenWeb site that I have any part of.
