    2. Do you have any research on the James Robinson family that lived in New Jersey (Bordentown, Trenton, Jersey City & Passaic) and New York (Brooklyn) in the 1800s? James was a blacksmith in Trenton, NJ in 1860. He died before 1871 (possibly in Brooklyn) when his wife, Mary Elizabeth Ward Robinson, married Thomas Brereton, a train engineer. The family lived in Jersey City, then Passaic. Who were James' parents, and did they come from England or Scotland? Can anyone help with information on these New Jersey-New York Robinsons?
