Stephen RHODES was b. 1839, Morris Co, NJ. He migrated from Morris to Passaic Co. by 1850, (he's on the 1850 West Milford, Passaic, NJ census w/parents: Nathan RHODES, b.1790, RI, and Margaret ANDERSON, b. NJ.) He married Mary Elizabeth HOLLEY, (1843-1929,) in 1865, (who migrated from Sussex Co, to Passaic, to Morris Co.) They had no children, as of 1898. Stephen was my ggUncle. He enlisted, 1861, a Private, in Co. A, 8th Reg. NJ infantry, and was discharged 1864 at Trenton, NJ. He was wounded at "Battle of the Wilderness, 1864, and d. 1910, Echo Lake, Passaic, NJ. Does anyone have his place of birth, and/or anything on his parents/siblings? Thank you...-Judy
