Hello all! I was wondering if someone could tell me how to go about finding any information on a tavern my great grandfather owned in Paterson. This is the info I have to go on: His name was Harry Carroll and he owned a bar he called "Carroll's Tavern" off Grand Street in Paterson maybe around the early 1930s. He sold the bar to a man named Nick Miran and Nick later sold the bar to Harry's oldest son Bill Carroll. That is all I have. Where could I begin to look?? I live in Florida, so leg work wouldn't be an option until my next visit around Christmas time. Is there someone I could write to about this?
