Received the following from the State of NJ when I asked for my great-grandmother's birth certificate and her mother's death certificate. Hope this helps someone. Dear Listers, I am new to your list, and I am hopeful that someone might have a connection with the HAGUE or OSBURNE (OSBORN) families in Passaic County. I reached a dead end after finding JAMES HAGUE's marriage to ANNE OSBURNE on 1/1/1858 in Paterson. I know that both were born in England: James in abt. 1818, Ann(ie) in abt. 1839/40. I did find James and Ann on the 1860, 1870, and 1880 Census records. If anyone out there is searching for either of these surnames, I'd be grateful to hear from you. Hi List.. My great-grandparents, Sarah Jane Vreeland and Joseph Ashworth Shaw, were married in 1866 by a Rev. John or James H. Robinson at the Primitive Methodist Church in Paterson. Does anyone have any information about this church? I know it was a splinter group of the Methodist church, and that it no longer exists. I also would am seeking information on Rev. Abraham H. Vreeland, born in Paterson circa 1808-1815, married to Jane W. Van Riper. His brother was Elias Adrian Vreeland, married to Jane Van Houten. I have reason to suspect and I'm seeking information on Elias Adrian Vreeland and Jane Van Houten as well.....they may be my elusive gr-gr grandparents. I received a death certificate for someone who died in 1932 with the cause of death blacked out. I wrote and told them I had received the certificate, and would like another one without the cause of death blacked out. There was no problem, they told me to return the one I had and they would issue me a new one, which they did. I found a Christopher Collard on the 1860 NJ Census Index for Passaic living in Acquannouk Twp . Would anyone be able to tell me if he married a woman from NY and had a daughter named Emma , also possibly a daughter named Sarah ? Emma would have been around 5 in 1860 . Trying to find siblings and any information on Elizabeth Cecelia Bruck, b June 13, 1881 d. Dec. 12, 1954. She married Frank John Francisco on June 27, 1906 at St. Doniface R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ. At the time she lived at 139 Jackson St., Paterson, NJ. Frank lived at Singac, NJ. According to the marriage certificate, her father was Vincent Bruck or Brueck.
