Hello All, Here is an 1880 census index for my Great-great grandparents. I'd like to here from any Boardman researchers. Soundex= B635, NJ vol. 18, e.d. 128, sheet 23, line 12. BOARDMAN, Geo. D., color W, sex M, age 31, bp. Massachusetts. Location Ocean CO., Brick Township, Point Pleasant, NJ. Family: Wife Sarah E., Age 30 Daughter Lucinda, age 7 (my great grandma) Son George W. age 5 George & Sarah were married in NJ in 1873. His occupation was listed as "Carpenter" on his sons birth record in 1875. He is not found on the 1870 census in NJ, but his wife Sarah was working as a domestic at the home of, boat builder/farmer, John Dorcett. The 1870 census of Mass. has several BOARDMANs. Could someone tell me which Family George D., age abt. 21, was in.
