Hello Ocean, I've just signed on after seeing the birth of this list. I've lived in Ocean County since 1966 and its about time Ocean had its own rootsweb-list. Although Ocean County was born in 1850 (it was formerly part of Monmouth County), the history of the area goes back before the Revoluntionary War.
