Hi, I'm brand new to the list. Does anyone have any information on the WOODMANCY family? I am specifically interested in information about the parents and ancestry of John Woodmancy born in 1804 in Ocean (or Monmouth) Co, apparently the son of a Reuben Woodmancy. Reuben died and John's mother apparently married Reuben's brother. John married Harriet PLATT in 1832 and the family eventually moved to Shelby Co, OH. Tradition is that John was a captain or owner of some kind of boat or ship at Tom's River. Any help is appreciated. Gary Treat
