I am searching for descendants of a Dr. Sheinfeld, of whom we believe lived and practised in Atlantic City, New Jersey during the 1920's and 30's. Mrs. Sheinfeld was my grandmother's sister, both of their maiden names would have been Goldberg, and the would have come to North America from Odessa, Russia in the early 1900's. It is possible that Mrs. Sheinfeld's first name was either Dolly or Reva or Jennie. So much information is lost that we are unable to assertain the exact first name. My grandmother Monya (Manya) and her husband Joseph Waltuck settled in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. My grandmother went to visit her sister several times during the 20's and 30's and was apparently cured of some terrible ailment by Dr. Scheinfeld. My cousins remember my grandmother's visits to see her sister only because of the salt water toffee that she would bring to them when she returned.
