Hi, Folks, First, I hope I am on the correct list. I am hoping Atlantic City is in Ocean County. Second, my grandfather, a kind of clerk or cpa, I am not sure, died of a heart attack on November 12, 1946 at the SHELBURNE HOTEL. His name was Edward Clifford AYRES, Sr. 1) Would anyone have access to an obituary for him? 2) Can anyone send a scan and info on the Shelburne? I know nothing about it. I have tried surfing on Google, but mostly they had little except references to it existing and being grand. What was its address, for instance, wasn't even mentioned...
