A while back someone mentioned a marriage with a John Spragg/Sprague and a Sarah Seamon? My computer crashed and I lost this....Does anyone have a date for this marriage? My ancestor is Phebe Spragg who married Doughty Reed in, Monmouth County...her parents according to Reed Bible records were John and Sarah Spragg. This area is now a part of Ocean Co.. I found Doughty Reed mentioned in the dockets of Silas Crane, (Stafford Township) in an article by Frederic M. Cramer in the Genealogical Magazine of New Jersey. There are a number of Spragg's , Seamon's in these dockets as well. Has anyone ever checked the dockets in Rutger's /Special collections for Spragg information?
