I am a descendent of a Richard Phillips ( b. Sept 9, 1754 Toms River NJ d. 1844)who was married to a Hannah ? born 1751 in Toms River & died Feb. 24, 1859 in Squan Beach. Many of the early settlers in the Toms Riverarea were supposedly married to Indian women, but there isn't much in the way of proof since most had no last names. I have been told that this Hannah may have been an Indian and perhaps this is an ancestor of yours as well.
