They are early - late 1700s and early 1800s. I've been looking for years for proof that Hannah BIRDSALL was the daughter of Stephen BIRDSALL and Desre MOTT. They were Quakers, but Hannah married out, and apparently all data about her was removed from the records. I have also been looking for Desire MOTTs parents for several years, without success and would appreciate any help with this. My head is getting sore from all the "Brick Walls" I hit! I am trying to find info on a Charles DAVENPORT (b. 17 July 1899, Brooklyn, NY; d. Aug 1980, Toms River, NJ) and Ethel WRIGHT DAVENPORT (b. 3 Feb 1901; d. July 1984, Toms River, NJ). A bill sponsored by Sen. Diane Allen, R-Burlington would do just that. The memorial monuments at Gettysburg are crumbling. NJ paid for the monuments originally. Other states have set aside funds for this purpose. If you do not want to be embarrassed by NJ at Gettysburg contact your local state political person. (I have no interest in this except we have a relative that fought there)
