I have recently become aware that my ggggg grandmother was probably Dutch. Her name was Mabel Johnson b.1758, father Alexander Johnson, son of John Johnson. He is the son of Wouter Jansen. John Johnson lived in Hanover, NJ. I am looking for any information about this family. I would like to know where Mabel is likely to have been buried. I have a record of what is on her tombstone, but not where it is. Mabel was married to John Cook of Hanover. I'm hoping he is next to her. So my question is, is there a Dutch cemetery in Morris County? Thanks, Maryann
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~vreelandproject/ http://olivetreegenealogy.com/index.shtml http://www.rootsweb.com/~njmorris/ These sites should have enough Dutch information and databases to keep you busy for awhile! The Montville cemeteries are on both the Olive Tree and Morris County sites, but I don't see your Cooks and Johnsons there. Possibly Pompton Plains? Or Vail? Good luck, Kevin
