Gerald Ford, however, is surely related to large numbers of Morris County residents. His Dutch lines (on his mother's side) go back to Lubbert Van Blaricom. Families such as Van Blarcum, Buys and Courter, all represented in Morris County, are kin. Gerald Ford, like Bill Clinton, took the name of his step father.
