    3. I am searching for records or any additional information of Thomas Mann, emigrant from England in 1775, married Margaret Bonham in Gloucester County, NJ Jan. 30, 1776, lived in Morris County (Schooleys Mountain) and later in Vernon Township, Sussex County, where most of their children were born: Abijah--born 16 Mar 1781; abt 1809 married Mary Conklin (born 4 Dec. 1783, Pequannock, Morris Co., NJ); Their children--Rebecca, Polly, Anna, Elizabeth, Mary, Thomas Abijah, Lucinda, Phineas, and Rachel were born in Vernon Twp, Sussex Co. between 1807 & 1824); Abijah died 12 May 1854 in Vernon Twp, Sussex Co., NJ and was buried in Mann Cemetery at Cherry Ridge, Sussex Co. NJ; Shuah Mann--born 15 Feb 1787 in Sussex County, NJ, married Nancy Oldham (born July 1/2 1789 in NJ). Their children--Thomas, Elizabeth, Horace, Abijah, Eleazer, Gordon O., Shuah, Jr., Amba, Austin D., Sidney, Nancy Jane, and Harvey Cole also were born in Sussex Co. NJ between 1808 & 1834. Except for Horace who died at age 2 months in NJ, the Shuah Mann family moved to Ohio before any of the children were married. Amba Mann (b. 10 Feb. 1777) in NY, but presumably grew up in NJ Elizabeth Thankful, Devious/Dervious, Prosper, & Amasa were also born to Thomas Mann & Margaret Bonham in New Jersey, but we do not have dates of their births and only sketchy records of their later lives. I would particularly appreciate any information re. Thomas Mann and Margaret Bonhams dates of death and places of burial. I would also like to know more about either Morris or Sussex Counties during the late 18th & early 19th centuries. Was "Schooleys Mountain" a town, an area, or a geographic feature? Is there any information available about the Mann Cemetery at Cherry Ridge in Sussex County? Does the Cemetery still exist? Why was it called "the Mann Cemetery"? I will appreciate it greatly if someone can help me in my search for any information that relates to Thomas & Margaret Bonham Mann or any of their descendants. LaVonne
