In several deeds the words Penn's land is used to describe a corner of property. Did William Penn own property in NJ, Morris, Pequanock, Montville? This deed refers to property of Samuel Farrand and Rachel, his wife, formerly Rachel Stiles, dgt of John Stiles, Ephraim Siles, William VanGeisen, Thomas Kingsland, Phebe Bowlsby. In the same deed it mentions that Samuel and Rachel Farrand have moved to ?, Cayuga County, NY. If anyone wants to read the deed I will post the whole thing later. Judy Ullman
