Mourison, dcd., late of Pequanock to Elizabeth Mandeville of the Village of Boonton Isaac J. Mourison devised in his will and testament bearing date 10 Mar 1853 duly proved before Frederick Dellicker, Surrogate, Issac J. Mourison did order his executor in following lanquage I do order my Executor shall sell the home and homestead lot on which the house stands containing about 5 acres at the death of my wife, Lucretia, for purpose of paying the debts and expenses and then if anything left after paying said debts and expenses the remainder to be given to Betsy, wife of Peter Mourison sold for $300 land in Pequanock Beginning at a stake and heap of stones standing on North side of a road leading from where James Wright now lives to where Jacob J. Jacobus now resides said stake and stones lying in a corner of a lot of land formerly belonging to Garret Duryea, dcd. at the foot of a steep hill and near to a large black oak tree thence extending N4W5c63l N86E along line of land formerly of Simon Vanduyne, dcd., 17c10l to line of land formerly belonging to Christopher Miller, dcd. with his line S7E2c33l to his corner in a lot of land formerly belonging to Samuel Warden, dcd., line along his line S86E13c32l to his corner With his line S4E3c23l to his in a corner in a line of land formerly in possession of the heirs of Captain Thomas Doremus, dcd. along the same S86W5c to place of beginning containing 5 acres 42/100 acre. McCarty Interviewed 10 Oct 1861 Recorded 10 Dec 1866 On the 2nd of April 1866 Eliza and James Mandeville sell the same property with two other smaller lots to George Hessey for $1600.
