My name is Bruce Howell. I was born in Boonton and grew up in Randolph. I graduated from Dover High School in 1962 and currently live in Atlanta. My father, George Howell and his family were from Mount Hope in Rockaway Township. My mother, Ruth Carroll, was born and raised in Boonton. At this point, I'm just beginning my genealogy search and seeking any info anyone may have on the following surnames from my family tree. Paternal surnames include Howell, Poppy and Kelly from Mount Hope. Maternal surnames all are focused in Boonton initially. They are Carroll, Love, Beatty and Quigley. Currently, I have more info on my mother's side of the family. In Boonton, her grandparents were Lawrence Carroll, Rose Quigley, Mathew Love and Mary Beatty.
