Lawrence and Sarah (Cook) MISENER/MIZNER had two sons, Lansing Bond (c1794) and Henry Caldwell (1795) in Mendham, Morris Co., NJ. As Sarah's father was Daniel and the father of Lawrence is unknown, the basis for the naming of the two sons is a mystery. We know that the sons were born in Mendham, therefore the source of the names should be nearby. Further we know that Henry Caldwell MIZNER m. c1822 vic Geneva, NY Mary Stevenson CAIRNS who was born Mary Stevenson BOND, d/o Richard BOND, and was adopted by her stepfather, Caldwell CAIRNS. This relationship does not directly impact on Henry Caldwell, unless the CAIRNS and BONDs were friends/relatives of the MISENER/MIZNER-COOKs while in Mendham.
