It was recently pointed out to me by Michael Duffy that Frederick Pietersze Mourits of Kingston, NY names a son Mourits among his children in his will. Michael also noted a good number of Kingston families among the settlers of Somerset County, which is where Maurice Maurison is first recorded in NJ. The timeline sent earlier is my attempt to see what I could find out, verify, and add to the mix and hopefully find some answers. I pretty much just added the information that shows Mourison locations, connections, and interacting in an effort to try and identify possible children and family of Mourits, so there are a few baptisms not entered. I think a case can be made for Frederick, Peter, Isaac, Jacob, Henry, Abraham and Francyntje. A possibility exists that Mourits' wife was named Judicke. There is also a Roeloff Jacobus connection with the proposed siblings. Any thoughts or comments welcome. Take care, Kevin
