Burial: May 1817--- Private Wills > cemetery in Mendham Morris Cty NJ > Hello, I was interested in your Samuel Wills-- to see if he might be connected with John Hamler, the son-in-law of the Samuel Wills of which I speak. My Samuel Wills was "of Roxbury" and he was helping various people of Roxbury make out their wills. (I have no idea what capacity he was serving in, but he seemed to be doing this service for a lot of people in Roxbury-Morris County in the late 1700's. He died before 1800. He signed the will of John Hambler in the 1770's, for example. Samuel Wills mentions his son-in-law John Hamler in his own will as "my late daughter's husband." But Mr. Wills leaves him nothing. Are these two Samuel Wills one and the same person? Kathleen Hamler Purchase
