    3. Stephen Grover was the minister the baptized Grover Cleveland and for whom he was named, but was not a relative. Ministers names turn up frequently as namesakes. Lots of George Whitfields. One of my wife's kin spent several years researching the background of Egerton Ryerson, believing the Egerton Ryerson Young was a descendant when he was merely the son of a devout Methodist preacher who greatly admired Egerton Ryerson.
